Randy Wilson- Treasurer for Citizens 4 Brent Hensley
Randy Wilson has been a lifetime Joplin-Webb City resident. He is a graduate of Joplin High School, Ozark Christian College of Joplin, and the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in Dallas, Texas. He has spent over 50 years in Funeral Service, mainly with Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin, and Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home in Webb City. He is now semi-retired.
Randy and his wife Carrie are members of Hope City Church of Joplin and are involved in leading Life Groups and serving. He is Past President of the Webb City Chamber of Commerce, and for years was active on the Education Committee, that selected the Cardinal Teacher Awards. He was also Past President of the Webb City-Carl Junction Rotary Club, and Past President of the Ozark Christian College Alumni Association. He is a Past Board Member of the Cerebral Palsy of Tri County Missouri, and Solace House of the Ozarks in Joplin. In 2015 the Webb City R-7 School Foundation honored him with the Webb City Distinguished Citizen Award.
Karensue Hensley- Brent Hensley's wife
My wife, Karensue, retired from Joplin Schools after 26 years as a school counselor. She currently works for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. She also is the pastor at our church. Karensue keeps busy running our home, being involved in our family activities, and helps to take care of our pets. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in 5Ks, helping with FFA, the organization, Constituting America, and traveling.
Wyatt Hensley- Youngest son of Brent and Karensue Hensley and serving as Deputy Treasurer for Citizens 4 Brent Hensley
Wyatt Hensley is the youngest son of Brent and Karensue Hensley. He was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri, and completed his education through the Joplin Public Schools, graduating as Salutatorian of the Class of 2023. During his studies, he participated in organizations such as FFA, Student Council, FBLA, DECA, and the Constitution Team. In May 2023, he also earned his associate degree from Crowder College.
Following graduation, Wyatt attended Pittsburg State University, where he joined the Honor's College and served as Sophomore Class Representative during his second year. He graduated in December 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in history education and a minor in Political Science. Mr. Hensley will now begin his career teaching history at Vinita High School in Vinita, Oklahoma.
In addition to his academic accomplishments, Wyatt was actively involved in Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout at age 14. He also worked at Harps Food Store for over four years, ultimately being promoted to the management team.
Jonah Hensley- Brent and Karensue Hensley's son. Jonah will be responsible for Social Media for the Campaign.
Jonah Hensley was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri and completed his education through the Joplin Schools, graduating in the Class of 2021, where he also earned his associate degree from Crowder College. He was active in FFA, serving as President, where he earned his American Degree. Outside of school he was very active in Boy Scouts, where he earned his Eagle, the highest honor in Boy Scouts. After high school, he attended Pittsburg State University, active in ROTC, majoring in Criminal Justice, and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant into the Army in May of 2025 and also graduated from PSU on the very day.
He began working for the Jasper County Sheriff's Department early on while in college and still employed there today.
His future plans include getting married in late December 2025 to Kaitlin Kleiboeker and is continuing seeing exactly what direction the Army and his career will lead him.
